I am an independent contractor that teaches military grade Martial Arts. Since age 8, I've studied music, becoming a highly educated guitarist. My hands are my life. I am not a stranger to surgery. I consider Dr. O to be the best surgeon I've ever had. She listens and takes time and is methodical: she is a Dr. pursuing perfection. As a Grandmaster ranked martial artist I understand this and so have the highest regard and respect for her.

Dr. Okoroafor is absolutely the best in her field, to which I can honestly attest after several years of superb hand care, including a recently and perfectly performed image-guided injection into the base of my thumb to relieve pain from osteoarthritis. Dr. O is terrific. She is thorough and detail oriented yet still has a very good "bedside manner" and sense of humor. Her skills as a surgeon are equal to the absolute best in her area of expertise. I'm amazed at the speed of my recovery and lack of pain-from day one! I was able to use my hand in six days following PT. I can only attribute this to her skill at her profession. I've already told people that if they ever need hand surgery, Dr.O is the only surgeon to go to.
